Saddle up for a fun and creative adventure with the York County 4-H Hobby Horse Project! This 4-Her-led opportunity is perfect for youth of all ages who love horses and want to explore the world of equestrian competition—no real horse required!
Throughout the project, members will design and create their very own hobby horse, learn about different riding disciplines such as dressage, jumping, and speed events, and develop showmanship skills. The club will culminate in an exciting Hobby Horse Show, where participants can showcase their hard work and skills in a friendly competition!
📅 Meetings: In-person, once a month on the 3rd Monday at 6:00 PM
📍 Open to Ages 8+! No prior horse experience needed—just a love for creativity, learning, and fun!
Come trot, canter, and gallop with us as we bring the excitement of the equestrian world to life through hobby horses! 🐴💚
