YOO DOO RIGHT ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Experimental rock band Yoo Doo Right (Montréal, CA) wed noisy, melodic guitar parts, effects-laden synthesizer soundscapes, deep bass grooves and patented percussive furies into sprawling, cathartic musical pieces. Drawing inspiration not only from post-rock, krautrock and shoegaze, but also from classical music, electroacoustics and musique concrète, Justin Cober (guitar, synthesizers, vocals) and John Talbot (drums) create a unique sound where “towering monoliths of roaring riffs crash against swarms of restless rhythms” (Pop Matters). Since forming in 2016, they have released two full-lengths, three EPs, as well as a handful of singles, whilst also touring extensively in Canada, the United States and Europe.
