Fayetteville based Yongi Live brings a sound of Psychedelic Soul to the Spa City. With influences from artists such as Erykah Badu, Greentea Peng, Matt Corby and Pip Millett; expect a night full of creative original music with a mix of soulful covers. Improvisational jams can be expected. Featuring band members:
Lead singer Jade Shae (Yongi) is an electronic music producer, collaborator and vocalist
Keys - Jakeb Hurley, also keyboardist with the Charlie Mellinger band, Korey McKelvy Band, the Deepwood Mac project; Jakeb produces electronic music under the artist name Bekaji
Bass - Jackson Diner, collaborator with many groups such as Deep Sequence, & the Deepwood Mac project; Jackson produces electronic music under the artist name Groovecluster
Percussion - Richard Goodrum, Hot Springs native, working in bands such as Pump Station and formerly The Ocie Fisher band.
