In the chaos of our daily lives, we are constantly pulled in a million different directions, stretching ourselves thin . Are you craving rest and relaxation? Come out and enjoy an afternoon of relaxation and yoga on Sunday, February 2nd at the Irish American Community center. Our Chief of Staff and RYT-200, Catherine Hopkins Zaneski, will lead 2 classes. The first class be a gentle yoga flow (Vinyasa), linking movement with breath. This will be a more active class. The second class will focus on Yoga Nidra but begin with a few minutes of gentle yoga. Yoga Nidra is a Yogic sleep, performed lying on your back. It produces a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, induced by guided meditation. A 45-minute Yoga Nidra Class can deliver the same kind of rest and rejuvenation as a three- hour nap! No movement is involved in Yoga Nidra and is appropriate for all levels. Come for one or both classes.

*Bring your own mat if you have one. Yoga mats will be available to borrow for class.
*Remember to bring a water bottle.
