1. Introduction & Warm-Up (5-10 minutes)
- Gentle Stretches: Light movement to loosen up.
- Cow-Cat Stretch: Helps warm up the spine and link breath with movement.
- Resting Pose: A resting pose to introduce alignment and grounding. Laying on your back, on your booty or child's pose.
3. Sun Salutation Sequence (5-10 minutes)
- Introduce a simplified version of Sun Salutations for warming up, findting flexibility, and introducing fluid movement.
4. Basic Yoga Poses (20-30 minutes)
- Mountain Pose: Basics of posture and alignment.
- Downward Dog: Stretch the back, build arm and shoulder strength.
- Warrior I and II: Build balance, strength, and introduce standing poses.
- Tree Pose: Simple balance pose for focus.
- Seated Forward Fold: Stretch the hamstrings and lower back.
- Bridge Pose: A gentle backbend to build core and glute strength.
5. Relaxation or Meditation (5-10 minutes)
- Corpse Pose: End the class with a relaxing pose for grounding and surrendering. Guide students in a body scan to help relax each area of the body.
6. Closing (2-3 minutes)
