Yoga w/ Nimesha

Nimesha has cultivated a personal yoga practice for over a decade, using it as a tool to ground herself in the present and connect with her most authentic self. Through yoga, she discovered a deep passion for self-discovery and now shares that gift with others. She has been most impacted by instructors who met her with acceptance and encouraged her to explore her physical and mental edge. In her own practice, she seeks out teachers who create a sense of safety, allowing space for emotional and physical release.

As an instructor, Nimesha strives to offer that same balance—grounding students while gently pushing them beyond their comfort zones. She completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training at Feel Better Yoga in North Carolina.

Outside the studio, Nimesha is an MD-PhD student at Duke University researching how the brain regulates emotion and pursuing a career in child psychiatry. She enjoys cooking, being in nature, exploring new places, reading crime fiction and nonfiction, and spending time with loved ones—including her 12-year-old cat, Gemini.
