Welcome to our new monthly Sunday yoga sessions. In this new season, we welcome Kamilah as our monthly yoga instructor. Classes will be on the 2nd and 4th Sunday each month. First session will be beginner Hatha Yoga. The second session is Yoga Nidra. Come learn and restore in our sacred space. Class investment cost is $11.11. Bio:
Kamilah Rose has been practicing since she was a child following routines with her mother. In 2016 she completed a yoga teacher certification after being off the mat for most of her undergraduate experience. Over the past year, she has been healing from burnout and returned to teaching yoga to align more with her passion for supporting health and wellness in her community.
Her favorite yoga styles are Yin and Yoga Nidra. She loves creating space to connect deeply with our physical forms by holding poses for extended periods of time. Yoga Nidra, specifically the iRest format, has changed her life. It has allowed her to find the inner peace that she has searched for over the last few years. Anything yoga-related that aligns with calming the nervous system and slow, intentional movement is her specialty.
