Description:
Yoga is an ancient practice that connects the body, breath, and mind. This series is an introduction and exploration of Yoga techniques: movement, breath, and meditation for new yoga beginners that meets each person where they are. Gentle movements, breath, and visualizations are some of the tools that will be easy to extract and implement at different times during daily life when relief is needed.
All Osher Movement Classes are facilitated by an instructor with experience and specific training working with participants with chronic pain and conditions.
This class is a part of our "M1" Suitability Code Category on our Movement Class Suitability Guide (see below).
M1 classes are suitable for those with some physical limitations and those new to the practice. Modifications available if support of a chair or the wall is needed.
