About this Event
Join us for a special session of yoga at DC's National Building Museum, featuring an all-level yoga flow led by instructor Beth Wolfe, followed by a restorative sound bath led by Mel of Beyond Yoga, a yoga teacher certified in crystal alchemy sound healing.
During an extended savasana, participants will enjoy a sound bath featuring seven crystal alchemy bowls. Harmonic chords and binaural sounds will be played which promote balance and relaxation. The crystal singing bowls used in this sound bath are made with pure quartz crystal, and are infused with earth elements, which is why they’re called alchemy bowls.
We will practice under the colossal, 75-foot-tall Corinthian columns in the Great Hall of The National Building Museum, America’s leading cultural institution devoted to interpreting the history and impact of the built environment.
The NBM is located just four blocks from the National Mall, directly across the street from the Judiciary Square Metro (Red Line).
All are welcome--the class is open to brand new and seasoned yogis alike! No previous yoga experience required. Please purchase tickets in advance and BYO yoga mat.
