Since then, Haley has tried many styles and studios, and she fell in love with power vinyasa. While living in Miami, Haley deepened her practice and noticed huge improvements in her mental, physical and spiritual well-being. After becoming hooked, Haley knew she wanted to become a yoga teacher. After all, teaching is in her nature, as a school teacher for the past 6 years. In 2020, Haley completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training and moved back to Charlotte. She is excited to be back home and re-connect with the community here.Haley loves integrating movement and mindset work. October 9: Leela Sykes Leela has been active in the Lake Norman community for more than 10 years. There are a few things that have been persistent during her time there. As a well-respected millennial entrepreneur, business professional, creative director, wellness professional, doula, visionary, and yogi, she experiences herself as the youngest, the only person of color, or the only woman in the room. Often all three at the same time. The feedback she receives from clients, students, and peers confirms that local women experience themselves as unaware and uninformed about mind-body connections in addition to sustainable practices to support and help build health and wealth. Leela is committed to diversifying, educating, and connecting people around me. Leela lives the same way that she learns; Through being, loving, doing, creating, building, teaching, talking, walking, seeing, touching, smelling, tasting, laughing, playing, feeling, catching, holding, failing, succeeding, observing, and reflecting.Composed of earth, water, and fire, with extra ether and air. she identifies as a Healer (she/her).Divine feminine and masculine energy. Constantly shifting in and out of balance.Fighting demons and healing from trauma(s) while sharing information and creating space for others to do the same.
