Yoga Rocks Returns to Taffeta Music Hall at Western Ave Studios in Lowell, MA
Join "Yoga with Chuck" for a morning of movement, music and memories this time focusing on 90's R&B /Dance. You can expect to hear the songs that moved our bodies in the 90's. Artists may include: R&B acts like Aaliyah, Destiny's Child, Mariah Carey, Boyz 2 Men, New Edition and Euro-dance like Snap! , Ace of Base, Haddaway, Aqua, Savage Garden. This is a fun and casual atmosphere that's perfect for yoga newbies but will also provide a beneficial practice for those who practice regularly.
Wear your favorite retro t-shirt or 90's styles. Bonus if you have Cross Coulors!
This event takes place in a music club, so please bring a yoga mat and any props that might bringyou comfort. While the floor is cleaned for us, this is not a pristine yoga studio enviornment so past guests suggest placing a towel or blanket under your mat for extra comfort.Your ticket includes the yoga experience, as well as a drink at the bar after the event ( Beer, Seltzer, Mimosa or non-alcholic option). Cocktails are available at an additional cost.This event takes place directly before Western Avenue's Open Studios where over 500 artists are in residence showcasing their work. A Food Truck will also be on site, so you can truly make a day of this! Tickets are $30.00
First 10 tickets purchased will have a $5 discount automatically added to the cart.The yoga practice is welcoming to beginners but also holds space for seasoned practicioners. As with any physical exercise check with your doctor before participating. General rule of thumb is you should be able comfortably sit and lay on the floor as well as get yourself to standing without assistance.
