We are so excited to be offering this deep immersive experience, which is designed for those who wish to take a break from daily life and venture deep into the heart of yoga practice. If you are interested in understanding the cultural context of what we practice and why, we invite you to join us.
Rishikesh is known to be the ancient center of the Yoga tradition & is known as the ‘Yoga capital of the world’. Rishikesh is a place of indescribable beauty & is considered in India a place of pilgrimage. We will experience the heart of yoga through daily practices of hatha yoga, breath-work, study of the teachings from the Bhagavad Gita and meditation lead by Carlos Pomeda + Saraswati Clere.
We will be staying at a yoga retreat center located a few miles north of Rishikesh, at the foot of the Himalayas, on the banks of the sacred Ganges River.Daily activities include: yoga, meditation, yogic studies and tours of sacred sites.Bhagavad Gita Immersion: The Gita is a treasure trove of practical tools for the spiritual life. Carlos will guides us through the wisdom teachings and help us apply these to our own lives.
