We invite you to dive deeper into your physical healing practices this year by exploring the body through restorative yoga postures accompanied by the physical therapy technologies of *dry needling and/or *cupping to target trigger points and help alleviate muscle tightness, pain and discomfort. This integrative session is facilitated and curated by Heart Guide, Jody Friedenberger alongside Physical Therapist, Dr. Lindsay Rush, with Beyond Physical Therapy. Yoga + PT is a holistic 90 minute healing workshop that aims to introduce participants to the opportunity to see how these forms can complement one another to enhance your self-care practices by promoting a more direct healing experience. Cupping therapy is an ancient healing technique that increases blood flow to an affected area to reduce/alleviate pain. Dry needling is another healing technique used to relax the muscles, increase blood flow, diminish inflammation, reduce local and referred pain and improve range of motion.
