YOGA PHILOSOPHY and PRACTICE WORKSHOPJourney of the Eight Limbs of Yoga
With Chris Alleaume
Join Chris for an immersive journey through the eight limbs of yoga, as outlined by the great master yogi Patanjali in the Yoga Sutra. Often mistaken for a beginner's guide, this ancient text is actually a profound practice manual for achieving Samadhi, a return to our true source, similar to a drop of water remembering it is the ocean.
In this workshop, you will explore the eight limbs through reflection, journaling, and discussion, delving into the Yamas and Niyamas and examining how each limb integrates into your practice and life. It will also include mantra honoring the great Patanjali and a practice inspired by Sutra 2.51. The Fourth Pranayama transcends the domain of external and internal pranayamas.
Pranayama and Pratyahara, the fourth and fifth limbs, serve as the bridge between the physical and the subtle. Pranayama is defined by space, time, and number. The Fourth explores the space aspect.
Discover the deeper dimensions of yoga and enhance your practice in this enlightening workshop.
