A 20 hour sensation guided continuing education course to empower your practice and your life!
About this Event

Overview

Yoga Optimized will empower you to create yoga poses that fit you rather than you having to fit the pose. Through revolutionary principles designed by Blissology founder Eoin Finn, this course will allow you to learn how to customize your yoga practice according to the unique needs of your body. You will be able to explore the forces that go through your body so that you can function optimally and as pain-free as possible now and well into the future.

Yoga is a spiritual pursuit, however in the physical practice, we make sophisticated shapes in gravity. If we are not educated and follow a broad brushstroke of a one-size-fits-all approach, the chances of injury increase and the benefits of the practice decrease.

This exciting and inclusive course is a must for all, from new practitioners to seasoned teachers!

Please note: this course will include partner work and hands-on-assists.

In Eoin’s words: “What I excel at is making complex knowledge interesting, understandable and practical by breaking it down into easily digestible patterns and principles. Through this work, I want to democratize yoga and empower each yogi to ask, “Do we fit the pose, or does the pose fit us!

Teacher Bio

The Canadian native is a globally renowned yogi, surfer, and Blissologist who has been carving his original tracks through the metaphysical worlds of yoga, philosophy, and movement since 1989.

Lauded by Yoga Journal as the “Thoreau of Yoga” for his eco-activism and dedication to connecting yogis more deeply to the spirituality of nature and by Oprah as “one to watch,” Finn’s Blissology Yoga style centers on the simple idea of sharing happiness.

Eoin has studied Anatomy and physiology at Harvard Medical School and Exercise Physiology at the University of California, Berkeley. While rooted deeply in yoga’s therapeutic and transformative alignment and physiology, his down-to-earth, modern spiritual insights refresh like cool water. He firmly believes that to find bliss, you must “seek quiet solitude in nature.”

A passionate ocean activist, he started the Blissology EcoKarma project in 2014, raising aid and awareness through yoga and activism for the world’s precious but imperiled coral reefs.
