Join us on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings for Yoga on the Gazebo at Lovers Key State Park!Yoga on the gazebo will end on May 14, 2021.
The Friends of Lovers Key (FOLKS) offers Yoga on the Gazebo at Lovers Key State Park every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9:30am this season beginning Friday, October 2, 2020. Taught by instructors from The Saba Movement Center and FMB Yoga Project, this class is just what you need to keep your mind and body fit and flexible.
FOLKS is committed to providing high quality, safe and affordable Yoga for everyone. Join us for an hour of Open Vinyasa Flow (multilevel) and experience the magic of yoga on the Lovers Key gazebo on the beach. Hear the sounds of the waves lapping on the shore, smell the salt in the air and feel the cool breeze as you meditate and practice in this gentle all levels class.
This class will be limited in size due to Covid restrictions and Pre-Registration is encouraged through the FMB Yoga project online. Visit the website at www.fmbwellnessproject.com for more information and to register. Drop ins will be welcome as space provides.
All necessary safety and sanitation protocols are in place to make this a safe space to practice in. All mats will be spaced 6' apart on the shaded gazebo.
Your participation helps to fund the future Welcome and Discovery Center, as a portion of the class fee will be donated to the FOLKS.
Bring a yoga mat, water, and any props you may need, as no equipment will be provided by the instructors this season.
Be sure to give yourself time to park, and take the tram down to the gazebo. The tram departs to the beach at 9am and 9:15am to make the class. Face masks are encouraged while riding the tram and during the pre-class setup and post-class wind down.
FEES:
$10 per class plus park entry fee.
Park entry fees are $8 for vehicles (2-8 people), $4 for single person in vehicle, $2 for pedestrian/bicyclist.
