What is Authentic Voicework®: Yoga of the Voice?
The voice is an extension of your body and breath; a channel for moving energy flow and expression. When the voice is inhibited, the energy stagnates within the body, causing the nervous system to become more "pressurized," like a lid on a rice-cooker.
Singing can move your essence to flow. Using the voice in this Nāda yoga practice deepens your awareness and invites wisdom to transform your actions, and your life.
Authentic Voicework is a powerful and therapeutic sound healing modality that explores the voice in how we are “seen and heard.” It bridges the authentic self to be seen and heard via embodied vocal exercises and activities.
This weekly class guides you into the heart of your voice as a barometer, nāda yoga* as medicine, connecting you to your authentic self, and ultimately - sharing your authentic self with others.
