Our 8-week-long Yoga-for-Birth workshop is fun, educative and packed with information for pregnant women wishing for a more natural, gentle and joyful birth experience.
Designed to equip you with a greater knowledge, confidence and a comprehensive 'tool kit' of appropriate asanas (postures), breathing and meditative practices to bring strength, safety and calm into your pregnancy journey and to prepare you for a positive birth experience.
Suited for all levels (including beginners to yoga), the classes include gentle stretching, strengthening, breath work and relaxation as research now shows practicing yoga during pregnancy can:
* Increase pain tolerance (and decrease medical intervention during pregnancy and birth)
* Improve vitality and posture
* Improve blood circulation and sleep
* Strengthen immune system
* Increase bond with baby and focus
* Facilitate a calm, focused and joyful birth

Audrey has been on the mat for over a decade. She has deepened her practice at Yoga Hotspot in Sydney, and completed her first yoga teacher training (YTT200) at the Vinyasa Yoga Foundation in Rishikesh, India, in 2016. She then completed "The Yoga of Birth Graduate Certificate" in Melbourne to gain a comprehensive teaching repertoire tailored to the needs of pregnant women and women's health.
She has also followed Vipassana courses and retreats and practices mindful meditation. She has recently attended a Level 2 Training at the Byron Yoga Centre, under the supervision of John Ogilvie, to complete her a 500-hour yoga teacher training (YTT500) program registered with Yoga Alliance.
Passionate about her "Yogi path", she likes to embrace its richness and diversity. She believes Yoga is a philosophy where we awaken ourselves and learn to live the present moment with humility, authenticity and love. Audrey teaches a range of classes: Beginners Yoga, Hatha, Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga, Vinyasa, Purna, Pranayama and meditation.
"Teaching Yoga gives me the chance to express my love for life and to share it with people around me.
Off the mat, I love being a mum, and my two bubbly kids Adam & Harmonie are, without a doubt, an inspiration for deepening my practice and knowledge of yoga."
