Yoga Nidra or Yogic sleep is an ancient practice that combines TANTRA & YOGA. It’s a guided passive meditation technique that creates a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping. When performed under the guidance of an experienced teacher Yoga Nidra induces the deepest possible state of relaxation while still maintaining full consciousness.
It helps with issues such as stress, anxiety and depression and is increasingly being used to enhance the quality of sleep as a therapy tool.
This advanced practice can be done by anyone under the guidance of an experienced teacher. All you have to do is lie down on the ground/mat and listen to your instructor's voice - no handstands/splits/headstands necessary.
I invite you to join the practice in person at the Peacestreet Community Center in Daan District from 7:30 - 8:45 PM this Friday on the 7th October.
