Yoga Nidra, or "yogic sleep," is a deep relaxation practice that allows you to completely unwind and let go of tension. In this class, Christina will guide you into a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, where you will experience a deep sense of rest and rejuvenation.To enhance this practice, Kayla will be incorporating a sound bath. Sound therapy uses vibrational frequencies to help balance the mind, body, and spirit. During the sound bath, you will be bathed in soothing tones from Kayla's crystal singing bowls.
The class will begin with a gentle yoga warm-up to prepare the body for relaxation. Then, you will be guided into a comfortable position, such as laying down or sitting comfortably. We will start with some simple breathing exercises to help calm the mind and focus inward.
This class is suitable for all experience levels, ages and fitness levels. Be sure to wear comfortable clothing and bring your yoga mat if you have one.
