Yoga Nidra - An Evening Of Complete RestJoin Anne for an evening of complete rest in Talisman Room.
This journey is suitable for anyone and is especially useful for those dealing with high levels of stress and anxiety.
You will be guided into a state of conscious deep relaxation. Yoga Nidra 'yogic sleep' is equivalent to several hours of normal sleep, where your mental, physical and emotional state come to rest together.
Your intention for the practice (your 'sankalpa') is entirely personal but we suggest that you consider a loving and compassionate intention towards your self.
If you do fall asleep, no judgement! It will be a deep sleep and when we complete the journey, you will be gently guided back to wakefulness.
Normally this practice takes place in Savasana (corpse pose) but we will adjust this to suit your body and there will be supportive and restorative options.
All you need to bring is yourself. Comfortable warm clothing as you will be lying still.
Bolsters, blankets, eye pillows (bring your own if you prefer) are available.
Please advise if you are allergic or particularly sensitive to any scent. We may introduce some into the room depending on the participants.
