Welcome to join us on a relaxing, restoring and healing inner journey. This practice is a merging of two essential eastern practices: the guided Yoga Nidra Relaxation Practice and the Himalayan Gong and Singing Bowl Sound Vibration Practice.
In this practice you will lay comfortably on the floor in Shavasana and be guided into deeper and deeper layers of your being, supported by the healing and harmonising vibrations from the gong and singing bowls. (Other sounds and instruments may also be present.)
Your mind will enter a space on the boarder of wakefulness and sleep, between the conscious and the unconscious.
The journey itself may be pleasant, relaxing, or eye-opening, and you may get in touch with deeper parts of your inner being; "yoga nidra" means conscious sleep, and the practice is designed to develop awareness in areas of ourselves that are currently more unconscious. (This practice is a precursor to experiences of lucid dreaming.)
You may emerge on the other side feeling relaxed, refreshed, and invigorated - ready to meet the dawn of a new day.
Gongs and singing bowls have long been used in the Buddhist traditions as a tool to promote mindfulness, concentration and states of meditation.
They are also seen to play a crucial role in rituals of cleansing, invoking energy, and promoting healing.
Contemporary scientific research supports this, and some studies have shown that when exposed to the frequencies produced by singing bowls, gongs, and other sound healing instruments, the brain shifts from agitated wave patterns to exceptionally calm wave forms. The brainwave changes occur in distinct frequency bands: Delta Waves (0.5-4 Hz) represent the deepest state of relaxation and healing.

Who we are:
Lukas
Since childhood, I have been drawn to music, fascinated by singing and various musical instruments. As a child, I learned to play the accordion. However, this was not my favourite instrument, and for a while I stepped away from music. At the age of 15, I discovered the magic of intuitive drumming. At that time, my hometown already offered many opportunities to play with a variety of musicians of different levels and styles. Intuitive playing gradually led me to other instruments as well, such as the mouth harp, didgeridoo, percussion, and more.
My true introduction to the magic of Himalayan singing bowls (known here as Tibetan bowls) came in 2008, when I became a member of the music ensemble Roman Ravin and Swayambhu. I remained an active member of this group until 2017. Thanks to Roman, I gained all the skills and knowledge related to singing bowls. Between 2013 and 2017, I had my first experiences with sound baths, which took place in Greece, Lithuania, Romania, and the Czech Republic.
When I first heard the gong in 2014, brought to the Czech Republic by gong master Bear Love from England, I knew that one day I would add this instrument to my collection. Since 2018, I have been collaborating with Jirka, with whom I co-created the project Sound Bath Brno.

I have been practing and studying yoga in various schools and ashrams around the world for 25 years - yoga is my way of living.
I have been teaching yoga and meditation practices since 2014.
I am also trauma therapist, and one of the things that fascinate me is how the ancient eastern and yogic sciences meet the contemporary neuro-scientific research, and approach to healing mental and emotional trauma.
