Yoga Nidra Pop Up ClassFriday August 29th

Yoga Nidra - also known as Yoga Sleep - is a powerful meditation practice that guides you into the state of consciousness just before sleep, a state in which you are deeply relaxed. Practitioners believe Yoga Nidra helps with sleep, pain management, clarity, focus, and emotional regulation.
This evening’s practice will begin with some gentle movement leading up to savasana, where you will experience Yoga Nidra. While you rest you will be guided through a series of meditations. While Yoga Nidra classes and scripts vary somewhat this practice will follow a classic Yoga Nidra sequence - setting an intention, becoming body and breath aware, sensing opposites, visualization, welcoming and witnessing what arises, and connecting to a whole body experience - followed by a gentle return to consciousness.
You don’t need any experience in yoga or meditation to benefit from a session of Yoga Nidra.
Cost is $25 per person.
Kat Wheatley will be guiding this practice, she is a Yoga Professional with over 1000 hours of training. She has participated in many Yoga Nidra sessions over the last decade and has offered Yoga Nidra in Y12SR classes, to teens, and previously as a pop-up class at Key Largo Yoga.
