Yoga Nidra is often referred to as radiant sleep. The practice is a relaxation technique that involves lying down while being guided through mental imagery. It's a combination of guided imagery and the yoga posture known as Shavasana. The goal is to achieve a state of relaxation that's similar to sleep, but while still being aware of your surroundings. This Nidra will guide you through the 5 Koshas to a journey of inner peace. Your deepest, highest self (atman) is always at peace.Please dress in comfy clothing. You may want to consider wearing jammies and crawling into bed once you get home. Please eat a light meal prior to practice. Bring a journal. You may want to jot down anything that arises in this state directly following the meditation. Often information will come to you post practice so a journal can help you to process.
Herbal Tea will be serves upon waking. You are invited to stay as long as you like in this held space.
