Thurs, March 20, 7:30pm $18Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep, is an immensely powerful meditation technique, and one of the easiest yoga practices to develop and maintain.
This class will begin with twenty minutes of gentle yoga to balance the body's physical energy. The remaining class time will be spent in Savasana while you're guided through the Yoga Nidra program, which will bring you to a state of deep relaxation somewhere between consciousness and unconsciousness that will release tension, strengthen the immune system and instill a sense of joy and well-being. No yoga or meditation experience required. For all practitioner levels.
Studio props (blankets, bolsters, blocks) will be used during Savasana but you're also welcome to bring your own comfort items to use. Suggested comfort items: warm socks, sweatshirt, blanket, warm water or tea for grounding.
