Yoga + Kayaking is a favorite summertime event! Meet us at the Tridge throughout the summer for unique adventures combining yoga and kayaking! Nor'East Outdoors is providing our boats this year (choose from kayak, paddle board, or bring your own), and Sarah Nelson leads the yoga. Typically, we first head out on the water in the kayaks going upstream along the Tittabawassee or Chippewa River and then return downstream for a more leisurely float back to the Tridge, where we end with yoga overlooking everyone's favorite Midland landmark to stretch out and wind down from the journey. You'll even get to play with the kayak paddle as a yoga prop to aid our movement practice!45-60m of paddling + 45-60m of yoga = the perfect way to get your body moving and enjoy our beautiful Michigan landscape and summer sunshine! Plan for up to 2 hours total, including kayak setup and launch. Kayak rental and yoga props are included, but please bring your own yoga mat and/or towel.
WHEN: select Friday evenings 5:30-7:30pm; 6/20, 7/25**, 8/8, & 9/19 (**rescheduled from 7/11)
WHERE: meet at the Tridge near the old farmer's market circle
COST: $45 per person, including kayak or paddleboard rental. $25 if you bring your own boat.
