About this Event
You’re invited to enjoy more calm, more ease and more well-being of body, breath and mind during this 1 hr. session. This yoga practice will be translated into Spanish, occur on the newly acquired Santa Rosa Southeast Greenway, and childcare will also be provided. Previous yoga posture or meditation experience helpful but not necessary.
The definition of Yoga is “not identifying with the fluctuations of the mind.” (Yoga Sutra 1.2)
Lesli decided to study, practice and share the gift of Yoga after experiencing--among many other benefits--more calm, clarity, compassion and courage. While working as a physical therapist, her yoga studies started in 1999 and includes completing Viniyoga Therapist training in 2012 and Trauma-informed Resilience Training in 2019. Also a Certified California Naturalist Lesli is passionate about being in nature, living in her true nature, and helping others find more ease, joy and resilience in life. She offers an integrative and empowering approach to Yoga practice that supports healing and wellness. She enjoys tending her garden, appreciating local and wild foods, admiring wildflowers and enjoying birdsong on trails and sharing adventures with her husband in Santa Rosa.
