About this Event
What to Expect
Feeling a little out of practice with hands-on adjustments post-pandemic? You’re not alone! Many of us got rusty or skipped this skill during training all together and now students are so craving hands on touch again. That’s why we’re hosting this workshop: to help you brush up, learn new skills and feel confident in your hands-on adjustments in classes. Added bonus, it is a great way to connect with other local yoga teachers! Tea will be provided.
The workshop will include:
- Exploring the different types of adjustments, Empowering Adjustments, Therapeutic Adjustments and Anatomical Adjustments.
- Guidance on when and how to adjust students during class.
- Trauma-informed principles to ensure your adjustments are safe and respectful.
- Learning a series of new adjustments and techniques.
- Ample practice time to build confidence in applying these adjustments in your teaching.
- Added bonus: A great way to connect with other local yoga teachers!
The Location:
This is held in the spacious, mountain lit art gallery at Rembrandt Yard. For this workshop we will be surrounded by an all new art exhibit featuring artists Heidi Love Larraz, Richelle Cripe, Cindi Yaklich, and Casey Hebb.
Prerequisite:
Completion of a 200-hour Teacher Training for foundational knowledge.
We looking forward to diving into hands-on adjustments with you all!
