Yoga for teens
Come join us for a relaxing and energizing yoga session designed specifically for anyone over 12 years old! Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned yogi, this event at The Hive is perfect for anyone looking to de-stress and unwind.
Zoi is one of our volunteers at the Hive. She is physiotherapist specialising in paediatric neurology and a newly qualified yoga instructor. Zoi's love for nature, movement and promotion of overall well being inspired her to organise inclusive yoga sessions at our site.
During her session, you will practise a hatha yoga sequence that is aiming to promote flexibility, strength, balance and coordination of the body. Focus will be placed on guided breathwork aiming to calm the mind and energise the body. All levels of experience are welcome.
Bring a yoga mat if you have or can borrow one. If you will need us to provide one please let us know.
This is intended to be an inclusive session. Parents can remain on site (and must do so for under 18s taking part) and can stay near to the yoga platform or pop into one of our classrooms for a tea or coffee.
The ticket price covers the use of the venue. Zoi is running this as a volunteer so any donations to cover her travel costs and cost of resources such as spare yoga matts will be appreciated.
