Join Steph Hanson, LPC, E-RYT for a free, trauma-informed yoga practice created specifically to support survivors of sexual abuse, assault, and harassment. You’ll be invited to connect breath to movement in sitting and standing poses in a practice designed to leave you feeling empowered, safe in your body, and connected to yourself and community.The practice will close with several minutes of guided, restorative rest, is open to survivors of any gender, and is in coordination with the University of Wyoming Student Survivor Group.
Held on Sunday, October 26th from 12-1 PM at Seek Yoga Studio. Please bring a water bottle, a yoga mat, and dress in comfortable layers.
About Steph: Steph Hanson is an experienced yoga teacher (E-RYT) and a mental health therapist (LPC) in Laramie. She has been teaching public yoga classes, workshops, and training for yoga teachers at Blossom since 2011. Steph’s classes are trauma-informed and designed as a useful adjunct to any healing process.
In her teaching, Steph weaves together alignment-focused vinyasa flow with a changing theme designed to support students as they process life experiences, move through transitions, and bring the unconscious to consciousness, welcoming ALL of who we are with curiosity, courage, and compassion. All levels of yoga (and life) experience are welcome in Steph’s classes.
