Stress is everywhere and negatively affects all aspects of our health: mental, physical, emotional and spiritual. When we carry stress in our bodies, we are unable to "show up" as who we truly want to be in the world. Unfortunately, many forms of stress relief are not realistic, just adding another thing to do into our already busy schedules.In this workshop, you will learn yogic tools to help you find relief anywhere, at anytime. Whether you have 30 seconds in traffic and need an nervous system reset, 10 minutes on your lunch break, or 30 minutes to decompress before bed, you will walk away with simple and effective practices to help you find more ease and peace in your life.
We will discuss the yogic perspectives of where & how stress manifests in the body, explore breathwork exercises, learn visualization & meditation techniques, practice movements to energize and stretch, and learn poses to release tension and decompress. We will end with a Yoga Nidra, guided meditation practice to help you fully embody the sensation of deep rest.
A summary of what we will learn will be provided, a notebook or journal is recommended to expand your understanding & commit what you learn to memory.
