Yoga for Stress, Fatigue, Burnout & Chronic Conditions Do you feel stressed, anxious, frazzled and overwhelmed? Do you have a chronic condition that leaves you feeling exhausted, in discomfort and feeling low and you’re unable to find relief? Perhaps you experience low mood, depression, anxiety and stress related symptoms…perhaps approaching burnout?
You are not alone!! Many of us, myself included, experience, have experienced or will experience some form of chronic health or stress related condition, poor mental health, burnout and general overwhelm at some point in our lives. We find ourselves ever busier, with less and less time to rest and relax and to just be present with ourselves. Longer hours, higher bills, social demands, media frenzy and information overload is certainly taking its toll on us – increasing the amount of stressors we encounter on a daily basis with little time to process and regulate…our cup starts to overflow…
Would you like to take charge of your healing journey and learn more about how you can safely and effectively manage the symptoms of stress, anxiety, low mood, fatigue, burnout and how you can also manage the symptoms of chronic conditions such as CFS, ME, Thyroid Disorders, Long Covid and much more?!
Using a variety of tools and techniques, from Yoga, Chinese Medicine, Shamanism, Somatics, Psychotherapy & Physiology – we will explore a range of methods that support you, as an individual, in your day-to-day life. These tools and techniques are designed to be accessible, easy to practice, short in duration and perfect for fitting into your already busy schedule – you do not need to have an extra thing on your ‘to do’ list – so we will explore ways to adapt these tools to fit your life.
We will learn about
• The nervous system & nervous system regulation & the signs & symptoms of dysregulation. How to regulate nervous system.
• Stressors & stress responses – Fight, flight, freeze, fawn, flop.
• Polyvagal theory, symptoms of overstimulated vagus nerve. Vagus nerve stimulation & toning.
• Pain management, energy management & overall wellbeing strategies.
• Tools & techniques for deeper rest, better sleep & relaxation.
• Mindfulness based practices for greater mental & emotional health.
• Gentle, restorative & mindful movement to support greater mobility, ease of movement & healthy bones & joints.
• Nourishing self-care routines
• Community support – you’re not alone!
So, if this sounds like a little slice of heaven - come experience 90 minutes of calm and stillness with radical rest and mind movement to help nourish and support your body and mind. This is a space just for you – to come as you are, to rest and to receive time to relax, meet new friends and to be held in a beautiful and cosy space.
