This workshop will begin with an introduction to the breath and how we can manipulate the breath to achieve desired outcomes. We will practice some different breathing techniques whilst observing the effects they have on the body and mind.You will then be guided through a yoga flow which is designed to create power and strength in both body and mind. We will be using vinyasa to link yoga postures together, working all areas of the body.
In the final part of this workshop we will slow down, dropping into a yin yoga practice and incorporating myofascial release techniques helping us to release any tension from the muscles and connective tissues. During this part of the workshop we will be holding these floor based stretches for up to 5 minutes enabling the fascia (connective tissue) to become more mobile.
