Recovery is a universal human experience, whether we are healing from substance abuse, an eating disorder, grief, heartbreak, trauma, or simply the overwhelm of living in a fast-paced, hustle culture, every one of us is recovering from something. This class is built on the belief that healing is not a solitary journey— and that we heal best in community, with practices that support the body, mind, and spirit.Each session will begin with a short reading from a recovery text to inspire reflection and offer guidance for the journey. Next, there will be space for optional group sharing—an opportunity to speak your truth or simply listen and know you are not alone. From there, we will transition into a mindful yoga practice designed to support nervous system regulation, release tension, and reconnect you with your breath and body.
This is more than just a yoga class—it’s a space for compassion, connection, and growth. Together, we practice slowing down, being present, and creating a safe inner home within ourselves. No prior yoga experience is required. Just come as you are, with an open heart and the willingness to meet yourself where you are today.
