Navigating the menopause journey can be a confusing and frustrating time during a person's life. Symptoms are varied and often change on a daily basis; however, relief may be found through meditation, pranayama, and the asanas of yoga.Join Menopause Yoga accredited teacher Meghan Rutledge for a workshop designed to help navigate hot flashes with grace and confidence. We'll explore the phases of menopause, discuss causes and triggers of hot flashes, and share our stories. Finally we'll practice specific breath work, meditation, mantras, and poses to help alleviate hot flashes.
All bodies welcome. Props will be provided. Please bring a mat and journal.

About our instructor: For over 20 years, Meghan Rutledge has embraced the power of yoga to navigate the ups and downs of life, including anxiety and burnout. Meghan earned her 200-hr yoga teacher certification in Bali, a transformative experience that allowed her the privilege of learning from a direct descendant of Hatha yoga, a Balinese priest, and a Native American healer. Additionally, Meghan holds a BA in Music and certifications in Gentle & Restorative Yoga and Menopause YogaTM. Her core belief centers around making yoga accessible to all, recognizing its pivotal role in assisting individuals in coping with the demands of modern life. Meghan draws from her diverse experiences to craft classes that are centered, flowing, and intuitive. Integrating meditation, pranayama, vinyasa, and the therapeutic vibrations of sound healing, Meghan’s students can anticipate leaving her classes with a profound sense of self-compassion and inner peace.
