YHLB is a a 12 week specialist yoga course, supported by extensive research trials, specifically designed to help people with chronic back pain. No prior experience of yoga is necessary. The course provides people with gentle, simple, effective techniques that may reduce back pain, strengthen the back and reduce the incidence of future back problems.
I have been teaching the YHLB course since 2013. I wouldn't still be teaching it if people didn't tell me how good it had been for them.
These dates for this course are provisional - it's possible that I might need to adjust dates a bit, in which case I will provide as much notice as possible, and make alternative arrangements with you if the new dates don't suit you.
Through our yoga practice, we can build strength, flexibility and balance to get you back to doing the things you want to do, whether thats walking your dog, gardening, swimming, going to the gym, enjoying gigs or playing golf.
Three course participants have been able to cancel back surgery following completion of the course. A couple of others found the gentle yoga very helpful following spinal surgery.

The course costs £200 (£150 if you've done the course with Kate before). Please book in with a £100 non-refundable deposit. The balance of £150 (balance is £100 if you've done the course with me before) to be paid a month before the course starts. This keeps booking fees to a minimum.
If you cannot attend a class, I will send a recording of the class or its equivalent.
The course will run simultaneously on zoom. If you've booked a face to face ticket but can't attend, you are very welcome to join on zoom.
The £100 deposit is payable through this booking system - the balance is by direct transfer to minimise the booking fees paid.
