This series offers a gentle practice - introducing beginners to breath awareness and foundational postures, and inviting those with prior experience to slow down and deepen their practice. It draws on postures and sequencing found by the Harvard Medical School to be beneficial for those with osteoporosis. Students focus on specific areas of the body, and indirectly specific elements, progressively throughout the six weeks. Emphasis is placed on breath awareness and coordination with gentle postural movements.This course meets on Fridays from Jan. 24th - Feb. 28th.
