About this Event
Yoga for Girls is a 6-week group for kids, 9-12 years old, who identify as female, to learn ways to care for themselves and their bodies while connecting with others their age. We will engage in a short yoga practice followed by a group discussion around topics such as self-care, self-esteem, and social justice.
This group is led by social worker, therapist, and yoga teacher, Ali Bullano, and therapist-in-training, Reiki healer, and yoga teacher, Camryn Walton.
The group will meet every Monday afternoon for six weeks from 4:30-5:45pm at The Golden Wellness Center (1211 Cheyenne St.) starting March 1st and ending April 5th. The total cost is $150, and we ask that each participant attend all six sessions.
We will conduct health checks upon arrival (taking temperatures + washing hands), practice social distancing, and require that masks are worn at all times.
