About this Event
Class Level = Open/Beginner
Welcome to Yoga for Cyclists by Kevin in partnership with Black Girls Do Bike NYC.
This new edition to the off-season training will be a six-week, progressive (Vinyasa) yoga series that will focus on mobility, strength, and injury prevention through flexibility. Since I am a cyclist, I understand where we struggle the most, but I also know where we need the most attention to gain most of our power while on the bike. There is a myth that Yoga is solely about stretching, but it's also about mobility and the more comfortable you are on the bike, the stronger you are for longer periods.

What this Yoga class is all about
This series of Vinyasa Yoga classes will not only focus on targeted muscles for Cyclists but riding bikes for long distances and or for performance requires so much assistance from all of body's muscles. I would be remised to not include Yoga poses that focus on other parts.
Additionally, how we think about ourselves on and off the bike has a lot to do with how our bodies respond. Let's work on our perception of ourselves (Darsana) and we will all thrive together.
