Yoga For Connection Hypnotic Flow, Reiki-Infused Yin & Restorative
This is my heart's passion style of yoga: a deeply nourishing, energy-informed practice that blends a hypnotic flow with breathwork, yin and restorative poses, and intentional Reiki hand placements with gentle hands-on assists. As a Usui Holy Fire II attuned Reiki Practitioner, I weave subtle energy work throughout to help you tune into your prana (life force), become aware of your chakras (energy centers) and the central channel (sushumna nadi), and gently release any blockages or stagnation.
The class flows like this: about 20-30 minutes of hypnotic, slow-moving flow and breathwork to awaken and circulate energy, followed by 45 minutes (or more) of longer-held, supported postures where we dive deeper into clearing and balancing through Reiki adjustments and profound rest. It's slow, intuitive, consensual, and incredibly healing—think cozy props, soft lighting, gentle touch (always with your clear yes), and space to feel the subtle shifts in your energy body.

1. Awaken Energy Awareness
Deepen your felt sense of prana, the chakras, the central channel (sushumna nadi—the main energetic pathway along the spine), and how energy flows (or gets stuck) in the body. We'll explore tuning in to these subtle currents and gentle clearing practices, blending yogic wisdom with Reiki insights for a clearer, more embodied understanding of your energy anatomy.
2. Clear & Balance Energy Centers
Use hypnotic breathwork, targeted poses, and gentle Reiki hand placements to soften clogged areas, restore smoother prana flow through the chakras and central channel, and invite harmony across your entire energy system.
3. Foster Deep Connection
Reconnect with your body, breath, energy, and the universal life force—cultivating a sense of wholeness, presence, and sacred intimacy with yourself.
4. Experience Embodied Healing
Leave feeling restored, energetically aligned, and with simple self-Reiki, breath, or central channel awareness tools to sustain that connection in daily life.
What a typical class feels like
- Hypnotic flow & breathwork (20-30 minutes): slow, rhythmic movement synced with breath to awaken and circulate energy
- Supported yin/restorative sequence (45+ minutes): long-held poses targeting chakras and the central channel (e.g., supported heart openers, gentle spinal extensions, or grounding shapes), amplified by Reiki placements and subtle assists
- Integrated energy focus: breath, visualization, tuning in, and hands-on Reiki to release and balance
- Extended savasana/integration: deep absorption of the shifts
- Soft closing: gratitude, grounding, and home practice takeaways
