AGENDA
Introduction (5 mins): Welcome and Introduction. Explanation of the benefits of yoga for busy people.
Breathwork exercises - Pranayama (5 mins) to help students purge their stress and cultivate a calm, focused mind. Breathing exercises to calm the mind and increase focus.
Warm-up (10 mins) Gentle stretches to prepare the body for the yoga session
Poses (20 mins)This breathing foundation sets the stage for the main section of the class - a series of Hatha Yoga poses (Asanas). Each pose is carefully chosen to promote strength, flexibility, and balance, helping to harmonize the body and mind.
Cool Down and Meditation (7 mins): Gentle stretching to cool down the body. Guided meditation to relax the mind and body
Chanting (5 mins) This immersive experience uses ancient Sanskrit mantras to deepen the connection to one's inner self and increase the vibrational energy within the class. The combination of breathwork, poses, and chanting creates a potent blend of physical exertion and mental tranquility.
Silent Meditation (10 mins) to consolidate the benefits of the class and leave you feeling refreshed, centered, and ready to tackle your busy day with a newfound sense of calm and clarity.

ATTENDANCE
- Things to Bring: Students should bring a yoga mat, a small towel, and a water bottle. Comfortable and flexible clothing is recommended.
- Logging On: Students will receive a link via email, which they should click on at the scheduled class time. It's recommended to log on a few minutes early to ensure a stable connection and to settle in before the class starts
- Class Attendance: Students are encouraged to participate in each session fully and mindfully, immersing themselves in the experience. Each student is reminded to respect their own pace and physical limitations, making modifications as necessary.
Teacher Bio: Monica Graham
Monica is committed to helping you achieve optimal health, connect with your inner self and lead a purposeful, balanced life.
She is an accomplished artist and health consultant, studied ballet at the School of Richmond Ballet for 15 years, advancing to their pre-professional division at age 14. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Musical Theater from Howard University and danced professionally in New York.
Monica also obtained a Master's in Psychology from Columbia University's Spirit Mind Body Institute and became a certified Health Coach at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. With a dedication to holistic well-being, she further honed her skills at YogaFit for Yoga teaching.
