This class meets on Saturdays from January 4th through February 8th. Ten participants maximum, advance registration required.This series is designed to alleviate worries about your first yoga class and make your introduction to yoga enjoyable. This is also a great course for current yoga practitioners who are looking to revisit beginning principles or those who have been out of practice and would like a refresher.
In this series, you will learn foundational poses that are taught in most classes with a focus on technique and alignment, while developing camaraderie with other students who are learning too. Upon completion of this series you can expect to be prepared to enter a regular class with increased confidence.

Poses (Asana)
Sun salutations (Namaskar)
Breath work (Pranayama)
Basic history and principles
