Have you heard the benefits of yoga but not sure how to get started? Looking to stretch and strengthen your body and help calm your mind? Yoga for Beginners 8-week series will introduce you to basic yoga principles, simple breath work techniques and key alignment in foundational poses. Questions are welcome as we ensure your safety in poses and get you set up for a healthy practice. This will be a fun introduction to the practice of yoga, led by trusted instructors from Yoga Home. Class size is limited to provide personalized attention.Yoga for Beginners is appropriate for students ages 14+ is a perfect opportunity for families with teens to start a practice together.
We know it can feel intimidating starting a new practice and are committed to supporting new students. You’ll find welcoming, encouraging teachers who provide variations of postures so beginner students so all can participate. We all had to start somewhere! Our goal for you is for you to be ready to join group classes confidently or continue a home practice. This session will be led by Julie Day, who teaches a thoughtful, well-rounded practice that blends clear instruction, body awareness, breath, and soulful reflection—with room for laughter and real-life connection.
Dates & Location
Session runs 6:00pm to 7:00pm for eight Tuesdays, September 15th - November 10th (no class October 13th). Please note – this series takes place at The Community Center at The Fel, 501 Harry Street, Conshohocken, not at Yoga Home’s studio.
