Yoga for a Cause: Breathe, Stretch, and Give
Thursday, January 16 from 6 – 8 p.m.
Yoga is a great way to relieve stress – and a great way to raise funds for youth in our community!
Start the New Year with a focus on your well-being. Grab a friend and join us for a yoga class fundraiser at Tula Yoga & Wellness.
This flowing style yoga class, while linking breath and movement, will build heat and promote strength, flexibility, balance, and agility. Within the challenge, there will be calming poses woven throughout to ensure a grounding and stress-relieving result. Teacher Candace Wayes will also include guided meditations and breathing exercises.
After the class, we will have a cup of tea together and Face to Face will share how young people are breaking down systemic barriers, building resilience, and finding their path to a fulfilling life.
Instructions:
- Bring your own yoga mat (if possible) or we have mats for use if needed. A spray bottle and paper towel will be available to clean the mat after use.
- Class will be held at Tula Yoga & Wellness, 99 Snelling Ave. North, St. Paul, MN 55104, 651-645-5551.
- Arrive at least 10 minutes before class begins to allow time to park, sign a waiver, and settle into the space.
- Parking is available in the lot next to the building and on side streets. If you are parking on the street, be sure not to park in front of a driveway.
- Please stay home if you are experiencing symptoms of illness or have had contact with another person with COVID-19 within the last 14 days.
Suggested minimum donation: $30 per person
Note: Only the amount of the donation that exceeds the fair market value of $15 qualifies as a tax deductible charitable contribution.
