This monthly Yoga + Craft class is such a fun opportunity for kids ages 5 - 10! June's class will be focused on the theme LET'S GO CAMPING, and we are going to have an awesome time exploring all the big and beautiful things outdoors (with our imaginations, of course 😜)During this independent class, we:
🎨 Create a fun craft for students to take home - a great time for them to be creative, build their fine motor skills, and make something that they are proud of!
🏃♂️🏃♀️ Play lots of fun movement games - these kiddos have so much energy, and they are encouraged to use it! So much fun is had while they build friendships and play together.
🧘♀️🧘 Learn yoga poses!! Yoga poses, or asanas, are a wonderful way to help kids learn about body awareness, balance, and strength. Practicing yoga poses also helps kids build a sense of compassion, confidence, and resilience!
📖 Get nice and cozy while practicing and experiencing the benefits of mindfulness. Often, we read a book and do a guided meditation exercise to help our bodies find how good it feels to just be still, relax, and breathe 😌🧖
** REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR THIS EVENT **
Space is limited to 10 students, so the only way to guarantee your spot is to message me and let me know!
Students should wear clothes comfortable to move around in, and bring a water bottle and a blanket if they like 🩵
Throughout the summer, there will be TWO yoga + crafts each month! Cost is $12 / class OR both classes for $20 (paid at first class). This can be paid in cash or through Venmo @growasyougo
