Yoga Class Theme: Journey to Triangle Pose

This beginners’ Hatha yoga class will lead you through a carefully designed series of poses or asanas to prepare you for Triangle Pose or Trikonasana - our peak pose.
Triangle Pose or Trikonasana is a foundational standing yoga pose that creates a ‘triangle’ with your legs and the floor, stretching the hamstrings, groin, hips, and side body while strengthening legs and core.
Triangle Pose or Trikonasana offers benefits like improved balance, strength, and flexibility by stretching hamstrings, hips, shoulders, and spine, while strengthening legs, core, and back and is known to relieve stress, boost digestion, and calm the nervous system.
It energises the body, stimulates abdominal organs, and can alleviate sciatica and lower back pain, making it great for both physical stability and mental clarity.
Triangle Pose or Trikonasana is also known as ‘The Pose of Joy’ due to the feelings of lightness, expansion and openness it creates within the body.

All classes are for beginners and take place at Crescent Yoga Studio at St Anne’s Tennis Club FY8 2QH. The yoga studio is fully equipped so you don’t need to bring anything with you, unless you prefer to use your own mat and blanket etc.
- Tuesday evening 1.5-hour classes cost £10.
- Thursday evening 1-hour classes cost £8.
- Saturday morning regular yoga 1.5-hour classes cost £10.
- Special Event Saturday morning and Sunday evening classes cost £25.
