Alzheimer’s disease and other types of dementia are often misunderstood and difficult to talk about. Half of all Calgarians have been impacted by someone with dementia. This January, we’re flipping the script, so you can rethink Alzheimer’s, reduce your risk, and remove the stigma. StillMe.ca is creating spaces to learn, share, and remember, it’s StillMe in here.
Yoga Class in January for Alzheimer’s Awareness Month
Come join us for a special yoga class hosted by Kate W. Mak of Junction 9 and GLC to support Alzheimer Calgary. This in-person event will take place at GLC's office. Let's come together and move with StillMe.
Please bring:
- A yoga mat
- Water bottle
- Comfortable clothing
Bacteria Bar will be offering product samples for all participants. Their products will also be available for purchase.

Kate is a Calgary based yoga teacher who has been teaching for the past 15+ years. Yoga is her passion and it’s taken her all over the world on many adventures. She is also passionate about community and knows how important that is in a fast moving world that sometimes feels singular.
