4-WEEK YOGA BASICS CLASSThis 4-week series will offer information about beginning a yoga and meditation practice without any previous experience. We will break down basic yoga poses, teach breathing techniques used in classes, study the 8 limbs of yoga, and introduce meditation. This will be an opportunity to de-mystify yoga and gain a deeper understanding of why we do what we do.
WHAT THIS IS:
In more of a workshop format, the instructors will focus on a set of poses each week giving you information about what to do with your body in the pose. We will also practice breathing each week and meditation.
WHAT THIS IS NOT:
This is not a structured flow yoga class but instead, a study of the poses with a deep dive into the foundational poses typically taught in a yoga class.
Class is offered both online and in-studio so you can join from the comforts of home if you prefer.
