In this 90 minute morning class, we start with our yoga practice, easing out tension, tiredness and tightness in the body, by moving mindfully and focusing on the breath. After an hour or so, we reach a quiet place within for meditation. We do this with a chosen mudra, a positive affirmation and we sit together for a few minutes of collective stillness before going under a blanket for the deep rest medicine of Yoga Nidra.
I always invite you to listen to what your body needs on any given day and move appropriately. So, variations and modifications are offered always and the class is open to beginners. My hope is that you will feel calm but energised after every single class!
