Yoga works on every level - the body, mind, emotions, and energy, to improve one’s well-being. Learn to align yourself intelligently through proper structure, stability, and strength to feel good daily. The practice of Yoga is profound, with many benefits for good health. It is more than simply physical postures. It is a devotional discipline that nourishes the mind and spirit.

Hatha for Health is based on the timeless wisdom of Yoga (union) - the foundation for postures (asanas), breath (pranayama), and meditation (dhyana) -  as a process of integrating the body, mind, breath, and spirit. The word Hatha in Sanskrit - the traditional language of yogic texts - “ha,” is sun or solar, and “tha,” is moon or lunar. Hatha is a dynamic energy of mindful strength and will. 

This class will enable beginner students to discover the depths of the body through the art, science, and philosophy of Yoga, as well as deepen the practice for seasoned students.
